Christmas in Idaho

We spent Christmas in our own home this year, and we loved it!
On Christmas Eve we went to the Byrams' for dinner and games. And wouldn't you know it, Santa showed up to join in the fun.

Christmas morning
Santa brought a kitchen, and the kids didn't want to open anything else.

On the 26th we decided to drive down to Utah and surprise my mom. We seriously surprised her to death. I thought we were going to have to peel that poor woman off the floor as she almost passed out. I think the entire neighborhood heard her announce our arrival with screaming.

And now, I get to stay to for a whole week!

I ♥ being home!

We're Ready!

We are ready for Christmas! And we can hardly wait!

Brooke has been walking around
(yes WALKING!)
wearing her Santa hat saying "Ha Ha Ha." Close enough.

We have been preparing with some serious napping. Check out that hair!

And even though Brooke is on the "Naughty List" due to her insane tantrums,

We got a visit last night from the Big Man himself!

Wait a minute-Cowboy Boots?

Jack is no fool. He knew right away it was Grandpa George.
And I must say that he is now a little bit confused about "Santa".

BTW-Santa is not sporting space-age-futuristic-sunglasses. He is simply Foggy.

I certainly enjoyed seeing George dressed up like Santa though.
And I couldn't resist posting.

Merry Christmas

I wish I could say that I "have it together" and got all these Christmas Cards mailed out. Bet let's face it: I have nothing together. I did get some pictures of the kids, but the cards are never going to happen. So instead of getting it in your mailbox, enjoy it here.

Merry Christmas!

Help

Kim-Rock'n The Scarf

Jessica Alba- Exquisite

Ms. Diaz - Stunning

Me

Seriously. Add a little/lot of chunk to the legs, and that is how I feel when I try the "scarf"

Before surgery I was SOOOO worried about what my scar was going to look like. Blame my vanity. I even got a few scarfs and turtlenecks just to be prepared.
Now, I couldn't care less about that scar. Surgery and recovery were so awful, that I was just happy to come out with all my pieces in the right places.

My neck looks great to me, except for the red dot below it where my tube was. That hole didn't close up well and now it just looks like a zit gone wrong. And nobody wants one of those.

So now I have these scarves, and I just can't pull it off. I need help. All you gorgeous scarf wearers out there (you know who I am talking about), what is the trick? I just look like an idiot when sport'n one.

My goal is not to hide my "hideous" neck from society-I simply feel that I must justify those scarf purchases. Put them to good use, if you will.

My cancer is not sad.

What is sad is that those scarfs look better hanging in the closet, than they do on me!

HELP!

Thanksgiving at the Wheatley's

I didn't win the Pie Contest, but mine was the first pie to be eaten all gone. Hmm.

What a bunch of Turkeys.

Matchie Matchie!

Santa's Reindeer

I have a lot to be Thankful for this year, just thinking about it brings me to tears. I am so grateful that I am able to spend another holiday season with the ones I love.

I Survived!

Setting Up

Ready to Go!

8 Hours of Craziness!

Thanks to my amazing and wonderful husband, Mom, Dad and Father-in-law for helping me get ready for this.

And a HUGE thanks to my SIL Deana and Cala who were amazing help in the booth. I couldn't have done it without them!

It was a LOT of work, but I actually had fun. I think I spent most of the time explaining to people that we weren't selling the aprons that we were wearing. One lady just had to have one, and bought the one right of my body. I guess it is officially Christmas time!

Whoops!

We decorated for Thanksgiving

Then it snowed

And up went the tree
Okay, this is Jack's tree. But the big one is almost done!

I even let Jack set up the Nativity. The most important pieces are where they should be.
I do love the lamb climbing the ladder.

We are very excited for Christmas this year

And what better way to get in the Christmas Spirit....
than coming to the Unique Boutique this Saturday and get all your Christmas shopping done!

And yes,

I am attempting to bring it all.

Let's take bets:

Who will be the first to cry, Me or Vince.

Just a Reminder

Tonight we took the kids to the Olive Garden for dinner.

WE ARE CRAZY.

As we got up to leave I honestly thought about leaving the kids there. I was sure they would find a good home with someone who could handle them. Not me.

I thought I could use a little reminder of why I love 'em.

They sing together. Jack sings words, Brooke just noise.

Brookelle loves Medicine. LOVES it!

Jack favorite phrase: Mommy look at me!

Brooke's Pig Tails constantly poke me in the eye when I hold her. So cute.

Jack was so proud of himself for setting up the Thanksgiving scene, just like it is on the box.

Okay, I DO love them. Perhaps just not in public.

Merry Christmas

Are you looking for a BIG Christmas Present for your husband or family member.....

The tan one is microfiber and is reversible. The other side is dark green.

I have 3 of these bags that would make great Christmas presents. They are great for Theater Rooms and can also double as a climbing apparatus for your kids (pretty much how ours are used)

$75 each

Let me know if anyone is interested. I have 2 blue, 1 black, 1 green, and 1 Tan/Green Microfiber. These bags need a good home!

Too Much!

This house has been pretty boring the last couple of months, but we totally made up for that today!

And now the boys are eating the loot and watching the World Series.
