Christmas

We had a fabulous Christmas this year!
The best ever in fact!
I of course had to get a picture of Brooke's cute Christmas dress!
I like to call these... Santa's Little Helper

Christmas Eve morning we made ginger bread houses.

I hot glued the houses together the night before, and that made for easy decorating.
We were finished by about 8:45am
 Then what?

We made cookies for Santa
We opened up a Wii from G & G Wheatley and the kids (and Vince) played all afternoon.

4PM
Christmas Eve Party at G & G Byram's
 Santa came!
And once again, Brooke was not a fan.
But just as he was leaving, she ran up to him and gave him a big hug!
WHAT!?!

Santa gave Jack "Just what he wanted his whole life!"
Space Legos!

The kids did a fab little nativity

8PM
We headed home for bed
 Don't forget the cookies!
A little bedtime story
1AM
Jack and Brooke were having a sleep over in Brooke's room and nobody was asleep.
This will be a night we always remember, because we switched rooms about 3 times and nobody got any sleep the entire night.

7AM
Merry Christmas!
Okay, I know he doesn't look excited, but it is because I made him pause for a picture!
This Lego guy was his favorite gift of Christmas.

The big guy came through....A BATCAVE!
Jack had only seen his Lego guy and the Batcave and exclaimed,
"This is the best Christmas EVER!"
Apparently Santa could have stopped there ;)
7:30AM
Merry Christmas Ivy

Next thing we knew it was time for church.
9AM
Who knew we could get ready for church in 15 minutes?

A little batcave action after church.

After church the kids opened their gifts from Me and Vince.
We built some awesome Waffle castles, and they got a bunch of Chevron Cars (their favorite)

Jack and his loot

Brookies bunch

The kids opened "Ipads" from G&G Byram
and now this is what I have been looking at for 2 days.

We have already gone through 12 Batteries.
I need rechargeable ones badly!

Jacks Favorites:
Ipad (Innopad)
Lego Guy
Batcave
Legos

Brooke's Favorites:
Princess Castle
Stick on Earrings
Sleeping Bag

Ivy's Favorites:
Soft blocks
Baby Doll

Me:
I got a new car a few weeks ago, and Vince made it very clear that is all I was going to get. I assured him that was fine.

Well he surprised me Christmas morning with a really cute scavenger hunt where I found pieces to a fabulous night out on the town.

My mom to babysit
Money for a fabulous dinner
Tickets to the Zac Brown Band Concert in SLC
And a night in our exact same honeymoon suite at the Little America

I was so excited that I cried. Literally cried.
What a guy!

Best Christmas Ever!

Preschool Christmas Program

Can you find Jack?

 There he is!

Yup, he is the one in the nice argyle sweater vest, black cords, and yup, WHITE socks!
Which wouldn't have been a big deal if he hadn't decided to get in touch with his feminie side and cross his legs ever so nicely.

For the entire program.

I actually loved his pose. Loved the socks, loved it all. I laughed about it all night long.

He was so excited to see Santa!

Brooke would NOT go see Santa, but she got a goody bag anyway.

She enjoyed a little Angry Birds during the program.

Great job Jack, we were all so proud.

Crossed Over

I'm not sure when it happened exactly.....

but apparently I have crossed the line.

Exhibit A:  I now drive a family wagon

Exhibit B:  I need one of these to get through the day.

Exhibit C:  I listen to talk radio
(only because my super cute sis-in-law is the co-host)

Exhibit I----vy:
This actually isn't relevent, but I couldn't stand the thought of a post without her in it.

Exhibit D: 2 Surgeries and 30+ Dr. visits this year

It's true.

I have officially become an old woman.

I still think I am 17.  I can't believe it was 10 years ago I graduated high school.

My body feels like it is 80, so I guess my mind just needs to catch up.  I survived my eye tube surgery on the 8th of December.  I am not sure however if I am going to survive the next 6 weeks of no mascara and really itchy tubes in my eyes.  I guess I need to act my age and take it like a man.

I asked Vince when we got the Burb if he felt grown up.  He proceeded to tell me about how a lady whose house he was working on couldn't believe he owned a company at such a young age.
 She thought he was 19.
She just about died when she found out he was 32.

He looks 19
I feel 80
We both think we are still kids
and we have 3 of our own.

We have crossed over
and need to accept it.
