Big Baff Tub

Jack has been CONSTANTLY asking to go swimming. This is the best I could do without daddy to help me at the pool.

I paid Jack with Candy to put his face in the water. And you better believe Brooke would not be shown up!

"Brookie, Come here, I want to tell you a secret."

Take 1 Take 2 Take 3
Jack got kissed, and he freaked

Now, I normally do not post naked pictures of my children. But I could not resists this one.
She stood in that exact pose for about 45 seconds.
She must have been deep in thought.

What Happens in Vegas....

.......Will not be shown here.

Not because we had a few crazy and wild nights, only because my dear husband would rather die than pose for or take pictures.

Amazingly, he felt that we should capture the fun night we had at Brad Paisley.

My apologies. You won't be able to see

*All the glorious shopping that took place
* The disheveled messes we were after running a mile down the strip so we wouldn't miss Lance Burton.
* Me enjoying the Bellagio fountain show for the 100th time-I am easily pleased.
* Both of us FREEZING at the pool, in our coats, praying that the sun would come out.

Good times.

If you are wondering what our kids did, go HERE. Grandma's house does not disappoint.

I call Vince.

Well Babe, I got the results.

What results? (Such a guy)

It's Cancer.

No.

Yes.

No, what did they really say?

Babe, it's Cancer!

Um, okay, I'm coming home.

Nah, you don't need to come home.

Yup, I'll be there in an hour.

I sit for the next hour contemplating the future. Vince walks in the door and hugs me. I stand in his arms expecting something well thought out and sweet to come out of his mouth:

So do I have to take you on a trip or something?

I stand there in shock.

I mean, aren't you supposed to take your wife who is dying of Cancer to Paris or something?

Thank you Mr. Sensitive.

He may have not chosen the best words at that moment, but I have held him to them.

We aren't going to Paris, or New York, but both
sort of

I enjoy Las Vegas for 3 good reasons:

Good Food

Good Shopping

Good People Watching

I am expecting to come home me a little heavier and my wallet a little lighter.

I'm praying for a heat wave so me and the pool can have some quality time together!

Valentine's Day is my favorite holiday. Don't ask why, because I don't know.
It's not because my husband is the Romantic type; this is his least favorite holiday.

But every year he gets better and better at it.

So I don't know why, but I ♥ Valentine's Day!

Jack wanted to make a Valentine for Daddy yesterday. He was so excited. He must get it from his mother.
Our Valentine's morning was a DISASTER! 9:00am church doesn't always bring out the best in me :) But I still managed to get the kids' presents ready for them before they woke up.

My mom always had a little present in our spot when we woke up on Valentine's morning. I wanted to carry on this tradition because I always loved it. She still does it for the grandkids, those little bags of candy are from her, THANKS GRANDMA!

I bought the doll and Handy Manny right after Christmas and it has been killing me to keep them hidden for so long. The looks on their faces this morning made it all worth it.

♥ Happy Valentine's Day ♥

26

Whoa. I'm old.

Today is my birthday.

We just got home from a great weekend trip to Utah, and instead of unpacking, cleaning and doing the laundry, I decided to go through the pictures I took this weekend.

It's my birthday right? I can do whatever I want today!

This is my favorite picture from the weekend. Mom & Brooke giggling together.
Brookelle found a friend.
Grandpa read stories to the kids.
And of course, the Bouncer House!
The highlight of Jack's trip!
Uh-Oh Vince. NO DADDYS ALLOWED!

I had an awesome Birthday weekend! Thanks Mom and Dad!

He Loves Me

Guess what,

It's Official,

Vince loves me.

After months and months of crying about my terrible camera, whining about how I can't capture the cuteness of my kids, and hinting that I desperately needed a nice camera.....

Viola!

I got my birthday present a little early (that is what a little/lot of whining will do for ya)

Now I can truly capture the cuteness of my children.

Now, if they would only do something cute...

I have finally captured Brooke's signature look
(Dont judge: Her hair was cute earlier in the day)

Again, her signature.
If you thought I took too many pictures before......beware the future of this blog.
