First Annual Byram Family Campout

I have ALWAYS wanted to camp out in G & G Byrams backyard.  But for some crazy reason, we have never done it.  So we decided to give it a try last weekend, and invited the whole fam!

The men folk got the tents all set up.

While the women chatted and got dinner set up. 

 Hot Dogs on the fire, less is more people.

 The boys had so much fun climbing in and out of that little 2man tent!

 Ivers. 

We discovered this weekend that she is a camping disaster, and will not be going camping again for a really really really long time. 

 We all had a great time swapping stories

And the kids had the time of their life!

 If you were looking for Eli, you could probably find him peeking out of his tent. 

If you were looking for Ivy, you could find her walking around with ANOTHER bag of chips.

and if you were looking for the teenagers, you could find them doing this....

Nighttime finally came!

Vince and Jack snuggled up in the two man tent I bought earlier that day

While me and these two crazies took the big tent. 

I put Ivy in her pack and play and within seconds I knew this wasn't going to work. 

 She was Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad!

She kept throwing everything out of the packnplay at me and yelling "NO"!

5 minutes later, we were in the car heading home. Good thing we live around the corner. 

Vince and Jack left their tent to go in and sleep with Brooke in the big tent. 

and Me and Ives slept snug in our beds. 

True story. 

The next morning I headed over to Grandma's for breakfast and found Brooke in the sandbox at 8am!

And wouldn't you know it, she was still in there at 3!!!

We spent the day playing in G&G's backyard!

And by the end of the day, this girl was worn out.

And so were the rest of us!

I hope this camp out becomes a tradition, we all had such a great time!

I did feel a little badly though that I planned the whole thing, and ended up going home. 

Oh well, we can see how she does next year!
