Home Sweet Rental

The whole "Moving" was such a mess.

We had to be out of the house on July 24th.

We couldn't move into our rental until August 12th. 

So for 2 1/2 weeks we were homeless. The fabric stayed in the basement of the old house, and all our stuff was stored in the garage. 

Lots of stuff!

We lived between Mom's and Jane's, and then on the 12th the truck showed up to move us to the rental!

We started with the fabric room....

2000 bolts of fabric and 37 bookcases.  

Our movers wanted to kill us!

The guys was like, "oh yeah, we can fit it all in the truck."  And then towards the end, he was like, "uh, no way."  So Vince had to grab a trailer for the rest of the fabric. 

The kids were in Utah for 3 days so we could get all moved in and unpacked. 

When my mom brought the kids back on the 14th, they didn't waste anytime. They sure had missed their toys!

We did find lots of surprises here:

Flooding

and the worst part....

HORNETS!

We thought we got all the nests.  Then Jack was playing in the playhouse and was attacked.  HUNDREDS of hornets came swarming out of the bottom of the playhouse and covered him.  He was screaming hysterically and running around the yard.  I can't believe he only got stung 3 times.  I was ready to call 911 because with how many were on top of him, I was sure he would get stung 100 times!

Other than that, this house is great!

We were so lucky to find such a nice rental.  Or any rental at all for that matter!

Brooke's room was an office, but we needed it to be a bedroom. 

It doesn't have a closet, so we have had to improvise.

We didn't think we were going to have room for a couch and tv downstairs, and we are SOOO glad it all fit!
