La Caille

My Mom and Dad wanted to take all the kids and their spouses to a fancy dinner when were in town for Christmas.

Of course, we were happy to oblige.

We were all so excited to go to dinner, WITHOUT kids, and enjoy each other's company.

That cute girl in the middle is single....if anyone knows any single guys.
Even though she LOVES being the 11th wheel :)

Vince tried Escargot. A moment we shall all never forget.

Brooke's Dance Christmas Party

I had to post about this because it was seriously the funniest thing ever!

I let Brooke get all "poofy" for the party. 

After they danced around with Candy canes and exchanged treats, Santa showed up. 

My two kids, Brooke and Ivy were the ONLY two kids in the whole placed FREAKED OUT OF THEIR MINDS!

 Ivy was screaming and we had to bribe Brooke to go say hi to Santa. The other Mom's could not stop laughing at how badly Ivy was screaming. 

Funniest day ever!

Christmas Prep

 We are so excited for Christmas, it's ridiculous.

We've done a few Christmas crafts to keep our mind off the waiting game.

And made some very yummy Gingerbread men for Mommy time today.

 We went to Grandpa Wheatley's Christmas Party on Sunday and it was crazy.  Ivy and Bella sure keep everyone on their toes! We are so glad we went though, it was worth the drive. 

I myself have been working on a few million projects!

I found this little dude at the DI for a buck, and I think he came out just great. Now if I can find somewhere to put him. 

I finally finished Mom's Christmas Quilt.  So hard, and so worth it. I didn't want to give to her, I wanted to keep it. I'm selfish like that. It even hung on my couch for a week before I gave to her. At least I get to visit it. 

I also decided to make Jack and Brooke quilts for a gift.  Silly me, what was I thinking????  Two quilts!  I survived, but they will be the LAST quilts that I back with Minky.  My sewing room needs caution tape around it...you could die in there right now. I will post a picture of them after Christmas, I don't want to spoil their surprise. And I will NEVER post a picture of what my sewing room looks like. I can't let people see how I really live. 

Christmas is Coming

We know Christmas is coming for a few reasons....

We've been to the Ward Christmas Party!

 And Vince loved every.single.minute of it. 

Buddy the Elf has arrived and is causing all sorts of mischief!

He even survived a near fatal attack from Ivy and another little girl. 

Phew. Good thing he is alright. I am not sure if Jack's little heart has recovered from the incident though...it nearly killed him too.

 We've been to see the Man in Red at the Mall, and have even sent our letters off to him!

The Tree is up and constantly under attack by a certain 1 year old we know.

 

 And last but not least.....we know Christmas is coming because I have already dressed up the kids and tortured us all with Christmas pictures.

It's coming......Yippee!
