Summer Break Begins

Time to see James running around in Capri Shorts

and the Barbie Jeep driving around the yard,

And cute little Smiles,

And crazy morning hairdos,

And taking all the kids to the grocery

And hearing what a bad mom I am for not buying them everything they want. 

 Time for pretty flowers, 

 

 And a garden that will never survive Baby Godzilla.

Popsicles, 

Baseball Games,

 And a trip to the Spray Park!

 And Carousel rides!

A Tale of Two Teeth

Miss Brookelle on her first day of Piano. Two front teeth intact. 

This girl is kooky and crazy and that's the way we like her.

 However, she does NOT like to have her teeth pulled out!

She works on it herself, 

 

And sometimes feels brave enough to let Daddy try. 

  But, no success. 

 After weeks of trying, Uncle Taurean, The Dentist, washable to remove tooth #1 without a lot of drama!

Yay!

 But within days, the second one was loose!

She let it get to the point of nastiness once again. Where it was literally dangling by a thread!

This one she got out all on her own, thank goodness! 

So cute! The end. 

Memorial Weekend & our 12th Anniversary

Our May was so busy that we both literally forgot our Anniversary. 

We ended up quickly getting dinner and then heading to Vince's office and booking us a trip for later in the Summer. Much needed trip, obviously!

 Our Anniversary was on the Saturday of Memorial Weekend, so we loaded up the kids and went on an adventure!

We hiked in Teton Canyon, a little around the Alaskan Basin. 

The girls only had minor whining. They are becoming good little hikers. 

James whined a little more than they did, and even fell  asleep. 

And then there's Ivy, who had to POOP!!! It was an experience that me and her were able to share, with some screaming and yelling and freaking out. Good times. 

Watch out for Vince, he reads EVERY sign!

 Jack climbed to the to of this Mountain and I was FREAKING OUT!

Aside from the Poopisode, it was a great hike!

 And since that adventure wasn't enough, we decided to show the kids the St. Anthony sand dunes just past Rexburg on our way home. 

 It was a hit for sure!!!
