Trip to Meadow Lake

We drove a couple of hours to Meadow Lake. It was hard to find, rough roads, and when we got there it was FREEZING!!! Like 50 degrees! We had no coats, or pants, and we literally were there 20 minutes. 

 It was so incredibly windy, we scarfed down some food and got back in the truck. 

On the way home we saw this amazing cave from the road, so we pulled off a side road and decided to try and drive to it. BAD IDEA! We ended up on a road that was NOT made for cars, and we literally almost died. I was screaming. Maybe one day we can go back and hike it.

Happy Birthday Ivy Jane!

We returned home on Sunday from the camping trip, and Monday was Ivy's birthday. 

We started out the morning with our first day of swim lessons and presents!

 We rushed home from swim lessons get ready for the party!

And a little photo shoot in her new swimmer!

Everything was ready for the guests to arrive! 

We painted Seashells

And did some swimming, too bad it was a little cold. 

 They went on a shell hunt, and Ivy thought she was listen to the ocean in her cup. 

 It was a fun little party, just an hour or so.
