T Ball

Man, I thought Tball was hard last year when I was pregnant.
Wrong.
Tball is much harder with a wiry 11 month old and whiny 3 yrd old.

But Jack sure had a good time with his best buddies Quinn and Boston!

And I sat through every.single.game, getting blown to bits.

It's Summer, so I will take 1000 pictures!

The kids (and I) Slipped & Slided for over 5 hours the other day.
They were so mad when I told them we had to quit and eat dinner.
Stupid meals, always ruining the fun.

Jefferson County Stampede

I don't know if I have mentioned it before....
But I LOVE living in a small town.
 Friday Night
There's nothing like deciding to go to the rodeo 5 minutes before it starts, getting a great front row seat, and running into just about everyone you know.

This was the kids' first rodeo, and they LOVED it!

They kept hanging on the ropes, and Brooke kept sticking her head inside. I told her a horse would come by and bite her nose off, and that seemed to keep her on our side a little more.

I had a babysitter all lined up for the next night for Ivy, so we could go the rodeo that night baby free.
But we decided just to take her and even though she was a bit of pill, she had a good time too.

Brooke was extremely bored during the calf roping and took a few pictures of me wearing her hat.
Vince said I looked like Woody.

 Saturday Morning

I drove the Burb down to Main St. early Saturday morning to get a great spot for the parade.

Waiting for the parade to start!

The weather was absolutely perfect!

Gotta love the Giant Broulims shopping cart!

Ivy had a good time too!

We went over to the park after the parade and the entertainment was a dud so we headed home.
It cost me a whole dollar for Jack to go down that slide, seriously?

We had a fabulous weekend!

Lego my LEGO!

Someone in our house just turned 6!
And REALLY likes LEGOs!
It's Jack!
Grandma Jane took him Birthday shopping the day before his birthday and he was so excited to come home and show me his skateboard and other treasures!

Grandma Wheatley and his cousin Josh came up from Utah that day too to spend the night and help us with Jack's big party on his birthday.  He got a HUGE lego set from Grandma Wheatley.  He was on cloud 9.

The Party

13 Kids. It was a zoo!
A LEGO zoo!
Design a minifigure game, Tower building contest, find 4 matching pieces race, and a house building contest.
And Jack's favorite hot ham and cheese sandwiches for lunch!

I don't know what I would have done without these two wonderful ladies helping me!

Gotta love that " They are singing to me and I don't know what to do" birthday look!

Brooke enjoying her cupcake

Water  balloon toss.  They would have done this all day, wish I would have had more water balloons.

Sometimes mommy has to improvise and make our own pinata.
 Pinata on a budget.
It was made a little too well, and wouldn't break open. Whoops.

Jack spent the rest of the afternoon doing LEGOs with his best lego buddy, Josh!

and we watched the LEGO movie he got for his birthday.

The kids sported their "medals" that they won during the birthday party games.

Then Grandma and Josh had to leave and go back to Utah.  Ivy, along with the rest of us, had mixed feelings about Grandma and Josh leaving :(

Jack chose Subway for dinner. He LOVES Subway.

And then it was time for one more little party with the family

I love this one!
Blake just couldn't resist!

Brooke was sticky mess, as usual.

Happy Birthday little Buddy!
